Wednesday Addams is one of the most exciting skins that have been added with the Fortnite Halloween event. The popular character hasn’t been released yet, which is why many players are wondering what he release date is. Fortunately, this date is not too far away, as Epic Games revealed when we’ll be able to get the skin.
The upcoming character will be obtainable for free in a cup that will be released next week. After that, Epic will release it to the Item Shop, where it will likely stay until the end of the Fortnitemares event.
What is the release date of the Wednesday skin in Fortnite?
Wednesday will first be available on Thursday, October 23. Epic Games will release her in a new Fortnite Reload cup, allowing players to compete for her. Just under 5000 players will receive the skin for free, before it even comes to the shop.
Considering that the Fortnite developer usually releases cup skins a day before their Item Shop release, we expect Wednesday Addams to be available for everyone on Friday, October 24. The Halloween event ends on November 1, and the skin will likely stay in the shop until then.
Both Jason Voorhees and Wednesday will be available for free in their respective cups. Jason’s cup will also be released on Thursday, and his skin will be available in the Item Shop a day later.
Epic still has several other Halloween skins to release, including Art the Clown and other Scooby-Doo characters. Before the Fortnitemares 2025 ends, the game creator will also bring back one of the rarest skins. Finally, the free Halloween skin will also be available until November 1, the last day of the event.
