In case you haven't noticed, Fortnite is very popular. Like, really popular. Millions of people play it, Take the L made it into the World Cup, and even Drake is a fan. So, you probably won't be surprised to hear that the battle royale title was the most-played game on Switch in Europe last year, right?
Word comes straight from format holder Nintendo, who confirmed a lineup of the 20 most popular Switch games for the last year. It had some competition, though, with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Super Mario Odyssey in second and third place, respectively.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate would have no doubt placed higher on the list if it came out a bit earlier.
