It's fair to say that Fortnite is pretty damn popular right now. It's the biggest free-to-play console game of all time, is giving rival shooter PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds a good kicking in terms of raw numbers, and has the backing of celebs including rapper Drake.

Perhaps inevitably, it's now rocked up on one of the world's biggest stages, namely yesterday's World Cup final against France and Croatia.

Well, sort of.

To be more specific, French forward Antoine Griezmann scored a crucial penalty and celebrated by performing Fortnite's 'Take the L' dance. He also did it during the match against Argentina earlier in the tournamemt. Sounds like he's a fan, then.

To be fair, Fortnite's association with football players is pretty well documented at this point. England's team has revealed that they usually fired up Epic Games' popular shooter to pass the time over the World Cup, and Jesse Lingard performed the 'Shoot' dance during the match against Panama.
