Epic Games is constantly working to improve Fortnite and add new features to it. Over the past seven years, the game has drastically changed and almost looks unrecognizable. All of these updates have helped Fortnite become the king of the battle royale genre, so it’s no surprise that Epic will release even more updates for it in the future.

According to a new leak, the Fortnite creator is working on a new amazing feature that would improve the game. This feature was in development a few years ago, but it appears that it was scrapped at some point. However, Epic recently updated it, which may indicate that its release is around the corner.

New Fortnite feature will make purchases much easier

Back in Chapter 2, Epic Games worked on the Reload V-Bucks feature. This feature was supposedly released in a few regions but never to major ones. It appears that it was scrapped at some point, but the game creator updated it with the latest update. According to Hypex, the most popular Fortnite leaker, Epic may be planning to release it soon or develop a new version of it.

What makes this feature so amazing is that it would help players afford cosmetic items they want. At the moment, it is only possible to purchase V-Bucks bundles, with the smallest bundle having 1,000 V-Bucks. Additional V-Bucks can be earned from the Battle Pass and obtained from the Starter Pack.

With the V-Bucks Reload feature, you would be able to top-up your V-Bucks to make purchases. For example, if you have 800 V-Bucks and you want to buy an outfit that costs 1,200, the feature would allow you to buy 400 V-Bucks instead of purchasing a bundle of 1,000. This way, Epic Games would potentially sell more cosmetics, while players wouldn’t have to buy bundles.

The potential release date of this feature hasn’t been leaked or revealed yet. However, it may be released at some point during Chapter 6.
