Fortnite update today – Season X, Heavy Sniper Rifle, The Baller, and more

OG Fortnite fans rejoice! Epic Games has finally released its latest update, and this patch brings back several fan-favorite items and content that were previously introduced in Season X. This includes the devastatingly deadly Heavy Sniper Rifle, the hilariously handy hamster ball-like vehicle The Baller, and many more.

With the fan base’s reaction towards Fortnite update 27.10 being largely lackluster, the new content introduced with this latest patch should be more than enough to compensate for a couple of major mishaps, such as the overtly criticized Fortnite cosmetic guidelines. Of course, the return of a beloved classic weapon and a gimmicky land-based vehicle aren’t the only things Epic Games is bringing back as part of this latest update.

However, you’ll need to keep in mind that this content will only be available for a week until the Big Bang live event start date kicks off, so make sure to enjoy the nostalgic content while it’s in the game. Once the momentous celebration begins, the Fortnite map as you know it will see a massive transformation.

The Fortnite update today brings back the Junk Rift and the Storm Flip

Though the changes Epic Games has made with patch 27.11 aren’t as prominent as those included in past patches, there’s still plenty to get excited about if you’re a hardcore fan. Not only does the Fortnite update today reintroduce the Heavy Sniper Rifle, but it also brings back a couple of helpful utility items in the Junk Rift and the Storm Flip.
