While Fortnite is constantly getting more and more skins added to the game, a recent leak has revealed a number of unreleased/scrapped skins that never made it to the final game. Two skins in particular have caught fans’ eyes with one being captioned “The General” and the other being music-related with “Retro Form” and “Future Self” styles.

Taking to Twitter, user Fluffuistired (via Fortnite news and leaks Twitter account HYPEX) posted the below image of the two character skins noting that they had been spotted on ArtStation via Matt Lau‘s account who is a Concept Artist at Epic Games. As of the time of writing this article, these posts seem to have been removed from Lau’s account.

Fans have been theorizing as to what the skins might have been used for with one player saying, “General seems like the Gunnar of last reality but more buffed”. Other players were quick to agree with another user saying, “He looks more like the general of the Kymeras and looks like one of the seven at the same time so probably the general for the cube queen”.

Some players have even noted The General skin resembles Marvel’s Ultron. Others have been vocalizing their disappointment at the skins being possibly scrapped with one fan saying, “The General bro with those symbols next to him makes me wish they made an evil the Seven with the general as the evil foundation etc”.

Perhaps this fan reaction could see the skins be added in at a later date to Fortnite but for the time being at least fans get a decent look at some of the other non-collaboration-centric work Epic Games are working on behind-the-scenes. In other Fortnite news, Fortnite fans fear Wilds season is getting stale fast and Epic Games quietly removed this Fortnite feature, but players want it back.
