Fortnite will have another live event this Saturday! This will be a season-ending event that will introduce us to the Simpsons collaboration. Unfortunately, it will also be the last time that we play on a Chapter 6 island, as the upcoming season will bring a completely new map.
Epic Games has already revealed the start date and time of the event, which is Saturday at 11 AM Eastern Time. This is quite unusual, as most live events take place around 2 PM ET. However, the game developer plans to release a new season right after, so this timing makes perfect sense.
What Time Will Be the Next Fortnite Event?
The upcoming live event will start at 11 AM ET (3 PM UTC) on Saturday, November 1. However, it’s important to note that the playlist for it will be active 30 minutes earlier. Considering that Fortnite events tend to draw millions of players, it’s always a good idea to log in early to reserve a spot in case of server issues or queues.
Right after the conclusion of the event, Epic will release the Simpsons mini-season. Or well, the update for the new season will come out, but we will have to go through an extended downtime before we can play it.
Epic plans to bring servers back online at 5 PM ET, six hours after the start of the event. This is when the new season will start and when all the new content should be available. However, in case of unexpected issues, we can expect the upcoming Fortnite to last for more than 10 hours.
Saturday will not just be the last day of Chapter 6, but also the last day of the Fortnitemares event. This means that all the Halloween content will be gone after the event, including the free skin.
