Fortnite Reload has been one of the game’s most popular modes for the past few months. Epic Games released it in June 2024, making it an instant success. This fast-paced mode has received several big updates since its release, including a new map. On Tuesday, Epic dropped another massive update, drastically changing the loot pool and starting a new season.

Next time you drop into a Reload match, you will notice numerous changes, including several fan-favorite items returning to the game.

Everything that changed with the latest Fortnite Reload update

Unlike Fortnite Battle Royale, the Reload mode has its own ranked system and seasons. The latest season dropped on Tuesday, which is why Epic drastically changed the loot pool. You will now have to adapt to the latest changes if you want to climb up the ranks and unlock exclusive rewards.

These are the big loot changes that recently went live:

As the season progresses, Epic Games will release more updates for the Reload mode. Many players are eagerly waiting for a new map, and it might arrive soon. The Desert Drop map was released in early November 2024, five months after the release of the game mode. Due to this, there is a chance that Epic will release a new one in March or April this year.

The latest update has had a major impact on the game mode, making Reload the most popular mode in Fortnite. In particular, the ranked version is leading the charts, with many players eager to get a head start and climb the ranks early.
