With Fortnite Chapter 6 coming in early December, Epic Games has prepared a lot of new content. From a new map to unique features, the new chapter will once again refresh the game. On top of this, it looks like the game developer will bring a permanent game mode that will contain every single season of the first chapter.

The latest leak gave us an early look at a new gameplay feature that may arrive with Chapter 6. This feature will completely change Fortnite, and we can’t wait for it to come out.

The upcoming feature will allow Fortnite players to go prone

Back in September 2017, Fortnite did not have many movement features. It was possible to run and crouch, but sprinting, sliding, and mantling were not in the game. Thanks to frequent updates from Epic Games, the game has drastically changed over the past seven years. Due to this, it’s no surprise that it will receive more game-changing updates in the future.

According to the latest leak, Fortnite players will be able to go prone in Chapter 6. Epic supposedly updated the prone mechanic with the latest update, which indicates that its release might be around the corner. More specifically, the development team updated the mechanic to detect the current stance mode.

Going prone is not the only addition that Epic Games will add in the next chapter of Fortnite. An earlier leak showed that the Fortnite developer was working on a swinging mechanic. On top of this, we expect many other innovative things to come to the video game next month, including a new island.

With Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix ending on December 1, the new chapter will likely come out either on the same day or one day later. It’s poised to be one of the biggest chapters, as not only will it bring many new things to the game, but it will also bring back Chapter 1.
