For many players, diving into daily and weekly quests offers the most satisfying experience. However, some enjoy immersing themselves in XP maps, designed to deliver swift XP rewards. Yet, the journey toward XP has been anything but seamless.
As time has passed, various glitches and bugs within the system have emerged, with some resulting in hilariously inflated rewards. A similar case featured a glitch that catapulted a player to an astonishing 1 billion XP, grabbing the attention of the Fortnite community.
Fortnite’s 1 billion level player terrifies entire lobby with “bot speed” level progression
A Fortnite player named pinPPELBOI shared an image on the FortniteBR subreddit where they showed a player with 999,999 levels while wearing a Godzilla skin, and a second image with the same user with over 1 billion levels, which amounts to 1,410,065,407 levels.
The user posted the image while asking the community whether the player was a sweat and said, “He was at 100k when he joined my lobby and after he joined his levels just kept jumping up. I left cuz I got scared.”
Furthermore, the player community offered their hypothesis of the instance where one wrote, “Probably a bot because A the high level player is only 10k-20k last I checked and B they are using Godzilla which isn’t available until next week”, to which another user argued that Epic removed the level cap this season.
A third user chimed in, “Still a hacking bot. To get to 10k levels, assuming 1 level every 15 mins, would take 104 days.. so even people switching off and playing it’s impossible at this point in battle pass.”
The common speculation that came across is whether the Godzilla player was a bot or a hacker who joined the lobby and wore the skin due for release on January 14th, which is already shaping up to be Chapter 6 Season 1’s biggest update.
