Epic Games has prepared a lot of new content for Fortnite fans in Season 3, including a new event. The new season will have at least four major updates that will be spread over the next two and a half months. These updates will bring new skins, map changes, items, and a lot of other stuff. Furthermore, we’ll get a new collaboration as well, according to the latest leak.
The leaked Fortnite roadmap revealed many interesting things that will supposedly come in 2024. One of these additions is the Pirates of the Caribbean collaboration, which is set to arrive within a few weeks. Apparently, this collab will bring a new in-game event and a mini pass. On top of this, the collaboration will affect the in-game island.
The next Fortnite event will be huge, leak shows
According to Hypex, the most popular Fortnite leaker, the Pirates of the Caribbean collaboration will be massive. The leaker claims that Epic Games will make big gameplay changes for it, including the unvaulting of the Flint-Knock Pistol. Pirate Cannons will also return to the game, as well as Treasure Maps, which is a lot of content just for a simple Item Shop collab.
On top of all of this, the upcoming collaboration will bring a big map change. More specifically, Epic will release a new landmark. Due to this, Hypex believes that the Pirates of the Caribbean partnership will bring a new Fortnite event, as well as a mini pass.
Many events in the past have brought big changes to Fortnite, including Star Wars and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. If the leak turns out to be true, we expect a mini pass that will bring both free and premium rewards. The premium track of the pass will likely cost 1,000 V-Bucks, and the items from it will come to the Item Shop at a later date.
Unfortunately, the release date of the Fortnite x Pirates of the Caribbean collaboration hasn’t been revealed yet. The leaked roadmap suggests that it will arrive in either late June or early July. Considering that the v30.20 update is scheduled for June 25, this could be the starting date of the big collab.
