Have you ever dreamed of exploring an expansive open-world map in Fortnite? Well, that dream may just be one step closer to reality after a dedicated fan created a sprawling recreation of the battle royale’s map, complete with most of the iconic POIs that Epic Games has introduced to the game throughout the years, including the infamous metropolis Tilted Towers, the beloved oasis Paradise Palms, and the classic suburban Salty Springs.

Now, before you go and start spreading news of an open-world mode in Fortnite ahead of the Big Bang live event start date, keep in mind that this is only a fan-made concept, so you won’t actually be able to explore a massive supercontinent in the game. Nevertheless, this depiction is still an exciting idea that could eventually come to life in Epic Games’s battle royale – if the developer ever decides to go that route, that is.

That said, if you’re having trouble grasping all the locations on the open-world concept, allow us to give you a quick tour of all the prominent portions of Redditor Kitchen-Bird382’s Pangaea-like map. As expected, most areas in the northwest section have several memorable POIs, including the Viking Outpost, Brutal Bastion, Polar Peak, and Misty Meadows, among others. Right next to the snowy northwestern region is the equally iconic northern portion: Breakwater Bay, Anvil Square, and the always-chaotic The Citadel.

Of course, arguably the most crucial section of the map, the central region, is made up of a jumble of oft-visited locations, like the notoriously over-crowded Tilted Towers, the comparatively quiet Pleasant Park, and the aptly named Frenzy Fields. Over in the southwest are a handful of justifiably significant POIs, such as the fan-favorite Paradise Palms and the smaller yet equally chaotic location in Tilted Town.

Fan reaction has predictably been overwhelmingly positive for this fan-made Fortnite open-world concept since many within the community have been begging for a similar official creation. But, alas, Epic Games isn’t likely to introduce a similar sprawling supercontinent any time soon, so you’ll have to settle for the enjoyable yet noticeably smaller cooperative mode in Save the World.
