Developer Epic Games has announced the first-ever Big Bang event, which they have promised to be an “unforgettable” occasion that will not only “evolve all things as you know them” but will also have a “memorable reveal” towards the end.
As of writing, it’s currently unclear what the upcoming affair will introduce to the battle royale. But if any of Fortnite’s past events are anything to go by, you can expect the Big Bang live event start date to bring plenty of new interactable content, like more skins or a brand new map with a new set of POIs, similar to the previous The End event, which took place during Season X.

The OG Fortnite map may even possibly be retained, though this hasn’t been established by the developer yet.
