The old Fortnite map will likely return very soon. Epic Games has teased its return, and many leakers have also shared some details about it. Unfortunately, the videogame developer hasn’t confirmed this information, which is why the community is wondering whether or not it’s accurate.

The old map is a rather broad term that describes the island used in Fortnite Chapter 1. The island went through numerous changes over the first 10 seasons of the game before it was destroyed in The End event. However, there is still a way to bring it back.

This article will explain all you need to know.

Will Fortnite Chapter 1 map return to the game?

Fortnite Chapter 4 – Season 4 introduced a new object, a time machine. The machine is owned by Kado Thorne, who is this season’s primary antagonist. According to Fortnite leakers, Thorne will attempt to use the time machine later in the season, but it will malfunction and cause the old Fortnite map to return.

Many reputable leakers have shared the same thing, although Epic Games hasn’t confirmed it. However, the company has teased the return of the original map. Kado Thorne’s time machine shows the release date of Chapter 1 – Season 5, which is likely a hint at the return of this season.

Fortnite players have a lot of theories regarding the return of the OG map. However, it’s very unlikely that Epic will bring back the first chapter on its own. Season 5 will probably be a mix of Chapter 4 and Chapter 1, and players will be able to keep using new mechanics, such as sprinting and mantling.

The time machine is supposed to go through multiple stages by the end of the season. At the same time, we expect Epic Games to release even more hints and tease the upcoming Fortnite season.

While the return of the old Fortnite map hasn’t been confirmed yet, we might get an official confirmation very soon. Many leaks and rumors have been circulating online regarding the topic, but it’s important to note that it’s based on leaks from reputable leakers and hints from Epic Games.
