Fortnite nerfs new items into oblivion, including Iron Man’s Mythic

The latest Fortnite nerf affects Iron Man’s Mythic item

With the v31.20 update, Epic Games added a couple of new Mythic items to Fortnite. These are Iron Man’s items that can be used for both mobility and damage. While the community quickly figured out a way to deal with the Flight Kit, Iron Man’s Combat Kit still reigned supreme. However, that may no longer be the case.

The latest Fortnite nerf drastically reduced the effectiveness of Iron Man’s Mythic item. On top of this, Epic also nerfed War Machine’s Hover Jets. Despite going through several nerfs this season, it appears that it’s still one of the most powerful items in the game. • War Machine’s Hover Jets now have 20% less fuel
• War Machine’s Hover Jets now consume 27% more fuel when boosting and 17% more when hovering
• Iron Man’s Combat Kit Damage nerfed from 30 to 24
• Iron Man’s Combat Kit Lock-on Range nerfed by 20%
• Removed the headshot multiplier (critical damage) on Iron Man’s Combat Kit
