Another Fortnite season is finally here! Epic Games dropped the second season of Chapter 6 on Friday morning, adding a variety of new content. If you like skins, the new Battle Pass has a lot of cool cosmetics for you to wear. But if you enjoy dropping to the island and getting victories, the game has something new to offer!
The new season brings Fortnite Moments, which allow you to further customize your gameplay experience. Do you want music to play while you are landing? No problem! Need to listen to your favorite jam after getting a Victory Royale? Sure thing!
What are Fortnite Moments?
The new season of the popular video game just made Jam Tracks much better! At first, these items were only usable in the Fortnite Festival mode. Later on, Epic Games added them as emotes and lobby music, and now they can be used in so-called Moments. In other words, you can select your favorite Jam Track to play while you are jumping out of the Battle Bus or after getting a win.
“Celebrate the start and end of a match with a music Moment! In the Locker, players can now choose a Jam/Lobby Track to play when they drop out of the Battle Bus and one to play when they get a Victory Royale. Players will not hear each other’s music, even when spectating, as the chosen Track will only play locally. In split-screen, Player 1’s chosen Track will be the one that plays,” Epic explained in a blog post.
Next time you launch Fortnite, go to your Locker and choose your favorite Jam Track to play in these moments. Considering that Epic releases new tracks every Thursday, you’ll have plenty of choices regarding your victory celebration!
