The upcoming Fortnite live event will introduce us to the next season. As previously leaked and revealed, Epic Games will bring Chapter 2 back. The season is called Chapter 2 Remix, and it will bring back many fan-favorite locations and items. All of this will happen once the event ends, and for some reason, Epic adjusted its starting time.
In this article, we will reveal everything about the latest change. Keep in mind that you should get into Fortnite at least 30 minutes before the event begins, so set your alarms!
When will the Fortnite event begin?
Originally, the Fortnite Remix live event was scheduled to begin at 6:30 PM Eastern Time. The big event will begin at an unusual time, as most events occur around 2 PM ET. However, Epic Games slightly adjusted its starting time. The countdown in the game will now hit zero at 6:30 PM, 10 minutes before previously intended.
Now, this is not a massive change. However, it’s very important due to the event attendance. We expect millions of Fortnite players to get online to watch the season-ending event, and many of them will try to get on in the last few minutes. Due to this, you should be advised that you should try your best to get into the game around 5:50 PM ET or even earlier.
The last chapter-ending event had more than 11 million viewers, and because of the server overload, a lot of players missed it. This 10-minute change can make a huge difference if you are trying to get into the event and watch it live, so make sure to keep it in your mind. Once the timer hits zero, you will no longer be able to get into the event game mode.
