Epic Games is working on a lot of new content to release in Fortnite Chapter 5 – Season 4. With the first major update of the season coming in early September, we expect many new things to arrive. One of these additions could be a new game mode that was recently leaked. According to the leak, the upcoming Fortnite mode will be unique, and it sounds like a lot of fun.

In this article, we will take a look at the new mode that is being developed by Epic. Considering that the current season has a Marvel theme, it’s no surprise that the Fortnite developer will bring a new mode centered on this collaboration.

The latest Fortnite leak shows details about Heroes vs. Villains game mode

Epic Games and Disney have collaborated many times, bringing numerous amazing characters to Fortnite. The newest season is the second Marvel-themed season, and once again, it’s getting positive reviews. Fortnite’s player count keeps going up, with millions of players playing on a daily basis. Due to this, releasing even more Marvel-themed content makes a lot of sense.

According to Loolo, a reputable Fortnite leaker, Epic will soon release a Heroes vs. Villains game mode in Fortnite. The game developer has already released a couple of Marvel limited-time game modes, so players know what to expect.

Here are all the details about the upcoming Fortnite game mode:

  • Each team has a limited number of spawns
  • The team that runs out of respawns is a loser
  • “Dead but not out” is enabled, allowing players to revive their teammates
  • It’s possible to swap teams and merge squads
  • Mythics from Chapter 1 – Season 8 and Chapter 2 – Season 4 should return

The release date of the leaked game mode is currently unknown. However, with the current Fortnite season ending in November, we expect it to come out within a month. Furthermore, there is a chance that Epic will release it next week, with the release of the first major update of the new season.
