The partnership between Fortnite and gaming consoles like PlayStation and Xbox has been extremely popular in the past, bringing rare cosmetic skins for players as well as some exclusive items that were never to be seen again.
Epic has collaborated with Xbox to bring bundles such as Eon and PlayStation to grant PS Plus members free cosmetic items and skins each month with the Celebration Pack ever since its launch.
Now once again, Fortnite is set to bring another console-exclusive collaboration with PlayStation, this time with the new PS5 Slim models which will grant free skins and V-Bucks to buyers.
Exclusive Fortnite PS5 Slim bundle is releasing soon, suggest leaks
According to leaks by data miners such as Guille_GAG, Fortnite is collaborating with PlayStation to release exclusive PS5 Slim consoles that come with an in-game code that will grant buyers 8 cosmetic items and 1,000 V-Bucks upon redemption.
The leaked cosmetic set is called Cobalt Star which is assumed to include a skin called Cobalt Snowfoot with additional items such as a pickaxe, back bling, wrap, instrument, and more. The Fortnite bundle is rumored to be released in the global market on November 22 and will come in two prices based on the PS5 Slim edition consoles.
The digital edition will cost around 450€ while the standard disc edition will be priced at 550€.
While it is not confirmed yet if PS Plus members will receive any additional benefits or not, safe to say that a special Celebration Pack for subscribers will be released around the same time.
On the other hand fans of the PS5 Pro are wondering if the same bundle deal would apply to their console as well since it’s a premium version of the standard PlayStation.
But as of yet, they can only hope for either Sony or Epic to make an official announcement about the offer that will hit right before the new Fortnite Chapter releases on December 1.
