Fortnite leak reveals new cosmetic item to forever change skins

Fortnite skins are some of the most popular gaming cosmetic items in the world and players who own a wealth of those in their locker are considered OG in the community. These skins range from original Fortnite characters like Renegade Raider to collab skins like Travis Scott, both of which are considered extremely rare.

Still, players are always on the lookout for free skins and items to customize their favorite Fortnite character before they head into a match, whether it’s choosing the right back bling, glider, wrap, or pickaxe.

However, a leak has now suggested that players may get another cosmetic item to customize their skins in the upcoming chapter.

Fortnite players may soon be able to change their shoes, suggest leaks

A new Fortnite leak by multiple leakers has dropped that reveals that Epic is working on a new Shoes cosmetic item where players will be able to wear them with 300+ skins. In the encrypted files, there’s a section in the shop category called “shoes” that contains these “cobbler” cosmetics.

This means that these items will be sold in the Item Shop and can be equipped by players in their in-game locker, similar to Instruments or any other cosmetics currently in Fortnite.

Furthermore, leakers believe that this feature might be slated for a leaked Basketball mode or Chapter 6, both of which are currently being anticipated by players.

However, none is confirmed as of yet as players are still riding the high of Disney and Marvel collabs and Fortnitemares 2024. On the other hand, though, the player base believes Epic is becoming “too greedy” and is asking players for a “cash grab” each season.

But at the same time, fans are getting Fortnite Crocs in real life pretty soon, which may also be added to the game as a cosmetic item at some point. Regardless, some are curious as to how the rumored cosmetic item would play out according to different skin sizes and heights.
