The next Fortnite season will bring massive map changes. Several game modes will be affected by them, including Reload and Battle Royale. On top of this, Epic Games has prepared a lot of other content, from a new Battle Pass to gameplay improvements. All of this will come after another live event, which should be amazing.
Besides map changes, Epic will bring a new feature that will rotate maps. If you’d like to know more about it, we have everything you need to know.
The next Fortnite season will bring map rotation
Fortnite Reload has been one of the most popular game modes over the past few months. It features fast-paced combat and quick reboots in 40-player lobbies. Initially, the mode only had the Squads playlist, but Epic added Duos shortly after and is working on the Solo mode as well. Considering how popular the mode is, it’s no surprise that the Fortnite developer keeps adding new features to it.

The upcoming feature, which was recently leaked, will completely change the game mode. According to Hypex, the most popular leaker, Fortnite will add a map rotation for Reload with the upcoming season. The leaker also shared a few more details about the upcoming feature, and Epic Games confirmed its release date on the news feed.
According to Hypex, next season, a second map will be added to Fortnite Reload. However, the existing map will not go away. Instead, these two maps will rotate every 15 to 30 minutes. At the moment, we don’t know what the second map will look like. However, considering that the next season will bring back the Chapter 2 island, chances are that Epic will make its smaller version in Reload as well.
The new Fortnite season is scheduled to begin on Saturday, November 2, and its Battle Pass has been already revealed by Epic.
