The latest Fortnite update just came out and brought new content. This is the second major update of Season 4, and besides content that has been released to live servers, Epic Games has added a lot of files that haven’t come out yet. Thanks to this, we now know some of the upcoming content that will arrive later in the season.
According to the latest leak, the Fortnite developer will release a massive Halloween update next month. The Fortnitemares event will bring many map changes, as well as a long-awaited collaboration.
The newest Fortnite leak shows the Saw collaboration and map changes
Saw is one of the most popular horror movie franchises with millions of fans around the world. The latest Fortnite update added an image of Billy the Puppet, hinting at the collaboration. While Epic Games hasn’t confirmed it yet, we expect the collab to come out during the upcoming Fortnitemares event, which is a few weeks away.
Besides the Fortnite x Saw collaboration, another Fortnite leak shows massive map changes coming with the event. According to Wenso, one of the most reputable leakers, Fortnitemares 2024 will have three named POIs and six landmarks. These places haven’t been leaked yet, but we expect them to have a spooky theme with Halloween decorations.
During Fortnitemares 2023, Epic released the Michael Myers skin, which became an instant hit. The upcoming event will have a Saw collaboration, and there’s also a good chance that Jason Voorhees will also come out. Furthermore, it appears that the free Felina skin will be released during the event as well.
The release date of the next Fortnite Halloween event hasn’t been leaked yet. However, judging by the past events, we expect it to come out by October 15 and last for two weeks.
