Fortnite leak reveals more information about Kicks, including their design

Fortnite Kicks were just added to Fortnite…sort of. Epic Games released shoe cosmetics with the v32.10 update on Wednesday. However, they were not enabled yet. Despite being in the files, Kicks are currently inaccessible, but they should be usable soon. In the meantime, a new leak shows us what these cosmetics will look like once they come to the game.

For now, Epic will keep Fortnite Kicks disabled while working on fixing a visual issue for them.

When will Fortnite Kicks be released?

Epic intended to release Fortnite Kicks with the first major update of the Chapter 2 Remix season. Unfortunately, this plan didn’t work out, as the release of shoes was delayed. At the moment, we have no information on when Kicks will come out to Fortnite. However, we do know that Epic Games is working on fixing issues with them, so their release might be around the corner.

Thanks to a recent Fortnite leak, we can now see what shoes will look like in the game. According to iFireMonkey, Kicks will also support collaboration skins. The leaker showed these new cosmetics on Omni-Man, as well as on several Attack on Titan characters.

The Fortnite leak also claims that approximately 524 skins will be able to use Kicks once they come out. This is likely accurate, as Epic Games previously revealed that more than 500 skins will support Kicks initially. The plan is to add support for 95% of skins by Spring 2025, and all of them should be supported within a year or so.

One pair of Kicks is included in the Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix Battle Pass, and this will likely be the case with future seasonal passes as well. On the other hand, Epic will release many other Kicks to the Item Shop, but for now, their price is unknown.
