The v32.10 Fortnite update is around the corner. It’s the first major update of Chapter 2 Remix and will bring some new content. Originally, Epic Games wanted to release it on Tuesday, November 12. However, the update was postponed by a day, and unfortunately, it won’t be complete. The game developer just revealed that the update will be missing one of its most important features.
As previously revealed, the Fortnite patch was supposed to add Kicks, map rotation, new skins, and more. Unfortunately, shoe cosmetics will not be available right away due to an issue.
The upcoming Fortnite update will not bring Kicks
Kicks are a new type of cosmetic item in the Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix season. They will allow further customization of skins, which is fantastic for everyone who enjoys this part of the game. Kicks are essentially shoes that players can equip to their characters. They were scheduled to come out with the v31.20 update, but unfortunately, this will not happen.
Epic Games postponed the release of Kicks indefinitely. The game developer posted this announcement on X (formerly Twitter), revealing that the delay was caused by a visual issue.
The good news is that Kicks will still be unlockable in the Battle Pass. On the flip side, they won’t come out to the Item Shop. To make the situation even worse, we don’t know when these cosmetic items will be released. Epic Games is working on a fix for the issue, but there is a chance that Kicks will be delayed until Fortnite Chapter 6.
