Epic Games appears to be preparing for Season 8 of Fortnite, with a number of curious happenings spotted by players in the battle royale title over the past few weeks.
Changes in the map are common when transitioning to a new season, and it looks like Fortnite is preparing to wrap up Season 7. For starters, there's been a number of earthquakes logged, but more recently, cracks in the map have started to pop up all over the place.
Season 8 hasn't been detailed by Epic yet, although it looks like we won't have to wait too long to find out. For now, Fortnite update 7.40 introduces some Overtime Challenges to tuck into, which will keep you busy until February 27.
Speaking of which, you'll also have a chance to earn a free Battle Pass for Season 8 during this time, so don't waste the opportunity, eh?
