How to earn free cosmetic items in Fortnite
On Friday, September 29, Epic Games released a few new cosmetic items to Fortnite’s Item Shop. These include five new items that can be obtained for free. Considering they are in the in-game shop, it’s very easy to obtain them and takes only a few seconds.
Here are all the free Fortnite cosmetic items currently available in the shop:
- Banner Icon
- Heartburst Emote
- Winner’s Heart Spray
- Reinvention Wrap
- Hearts Up Emoticon
To obtain these free items, all you need to do is launch Fortnite and open the Item Shop. Scroll down to the Celebrating Women section, and you’ll see these items. You need to open them and purchase them for 0 V-Bucks. Additionally, you may gift these items to your friends.
It’s important to note that these free cosmetics won’t be available forever. Epic Games revealed a few more details about them in a blog post, clarifying that they will be removed from the shop on October 9. Due to this, you need to obtain them before they are vaulted.
There is a chance that Epic will permanently vault these items, which means that you may not be able to get them in the future.
