The next Fortnite event is less than two weeks away, according to the latest leak. Epic Games is getting everything ready for a new season and a new chapter. Due to this, it’s no surprise that a new event is around the corner. Unlike the other events in this chapter, the next one will be massive and have its own game mode.
In this article, we will reveal all the details that have been leaked. Keep in mind that the article contains potential spoilers about the future of Fortnite.
When will the next Fortnite event begin?
Hypex, the most popular Fortnite leaker, recently shared a lot of interesting info regarding the upcoming event in the video game. The leaker claims that this event will be used as a conclusion of Chapter 5. While the release date hasn’t been confirmed yet, it will likely come out on Friday, November 1. Since the next season is on November 2, the event may lead us into downtime.
The Fortnite leaker shared that the event will be a separate game mode. In other words, it will not happen in Battle Royale playlists, which was the case with every event so far in Chapter 5. This also means that eliminating other players will not be possible.
According to the leak, the Fortnite event will have six phases and a post-event screen. Due to this, there is a good chance that the server downtime will begin right after it. Furthermore, the event countdown will appear in both the lobby and the game. This will ensure that everyone knows when the event begins so they can log in and watch it live.
The next Fortnite update is scheduled for Tuesday, October 22. This will be the final update of Chapter 5 – Season 4 and will be relatively small. Because of its size, we believe the update will bring new event files, including its countdown. Stay tuned!
