Fortnite Chapter 1 ended in October 2019 after the obliteration of the Zero Point. The entire map was destroyed, which resulted in the longest downtime of all time. However, it appears that the first-ever chapter of the videogame will return very soon.

With the release of the v26.30 Fortnite update on Tuesday, Epic Games has added several hints regarding the return of Chapter 1. This is certainly not a coincidence as the company has done similar things many times in the past. Due to this, many players will be delighted to hear that their favorite chapter may soon return.

Here’s everything we know about it.

Will Fortnite Chapter 1 return this year?

The return of Fortnite Chapter 1 hasn’t been officially confirmed. However, everything points to it. Kado Thorne’s Time Machine now shows July 12, 2018, as the date, which is the release date of Chapter 1 – Season 5. Interestingly, the slogan of the season was Worlds Collide.

Epic Games made it possible for Thorne to travel to the past and collect trophies for his collection. However, it appears that the antagonist is now preparing for the greatest heist of all time. Instead of stealing trophies, he might attempt to steal everything.

According to reputable Fortnite leakers, Epic Games has also added another teaser to the game data. The teaser has a Chapter 1 lighting, which will be shown at Mega City. The teaser will likely be activated and pushed to live servers in the final two weeks of the season.

Many players believe that the scene with Thor and Korg from Avengers: Endgame was another hint at the return of Fortnite Chapter 1. The plot of the movie was set in 2023, yet Korg was playing the first chapter of the videogame in it.

The next Fortnite season will be Chapter 4 – Season 5, so adding the fifth season from Chapter 1 makes a lot of sense. Furthermore, this will likely be the shortest Fortnite season of all time, so it’s not surprising if Epic decides to release a short experiment for it.
