Fortnite Buffs Playtime XP by Almost 80%

Leveling up in Fortnite has just become much easier! Epic Games has buffed playtime XP again, making Battle Pass progression a breeze. The game developer has increased XP gains from nearly every mode, up to 80%. Thanks to this, unlocking a pair of free skins is no longer a big problem for players.

The latest buff affects almost every mode developed by Epic, including newer modes such as Delulu and Blitz. LEGO Fortnite and Festival have also been buffed, so let’s take a look at how much faster players will be able to earn XP.

How much did Fortnite buff XP?

Fortnite has buffed playtime XP between 30% and 78%, depending on the game mode. Creative and Festival modes are on the lower end of the spectrum, but despite that, the buff is still significant. Blitz Royale received the biggest increase, as players now earn 78% more XP for simply playing the game, while Delulu is right after.

The XP buff will drastically help those who need to catch up with the Battle Pass in the last two weeks of the season. Furthermore, it’s perfect for players who still haven’t unlocked the free skins in Fortnite. At the moment, players can unlock the UNSC Spartan by reaching level 100 in the Battle Pass, as well as the Halloween skin by simply earning 15 levels.

Fortnite Chapter 6 – Season 4 is set to end on November 1. It will be followed by a mini-season, which will bring The Simpsons collaboration.
