Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 brings a new Japanese-themed island with over 6 different biomes, each housing unique POIs with several characters and abilities to be found. While some locations are perfect for getting easy kills, others are more contested due to bosses spawning there who carry powerful medallions.
Among all the new locations and the secret spots on the map, a new spot with a familiar sign has emerged and it refers to an OG meme on the Chapter 1 island. The sign is a No Emote sign and here’s where you can find it on the Fortnite Chapter 6 map, but beware, it comes with a brutal payback if you break the rules.
Where to find the No Emote sign in Fortnite
The No Emote sign is located right on top of a hill slightly north west of Foxy Floodgate POI. Its location is marked on the map on the image below.
Once you reach there, walk closely to the sign and you’ll see it tells you not to emote. However, still if you do emote, the game will automatically throw you down the cliff and you’ll get eliminated from fall damage.
While several players found a counter to the method by deploying a Bush Bomb or Port-A-Bunker right below, Epic has since buffed up the sign which throws players even further away.
This sign is a reference to a quest from Chapter 1 Season X where players had to destroy several No Dancing (also known as No Emoting) signs with a pickaxe around the island. Those signs were also located on a height from where players could take significant fall damage if they did not destroy the sign.
However, sadly you cannot destroy this sign on the current Chapter 6 island as Epic has disabled such a function. Still, you can try your luck and use a Void Oni Mask or a Typhoon Blade to dodge such an unfortunate circumstance if you’re punished for dancing in front of the sign.
