Football Manager 2023 (FM23) is just around the corner and the majority of the best players who were Free Agents have already found clubs. However, there are still a few that are worth picking up, especially if you’re a lower level club. So we are gonna take a look at some of the best players you can pick up for free in FM23.
It is worth noting that free agents can sometimes cause some difficulties when trying to get a work permit. This is especially true if you’re a slightly smaller club, or you don’t have too much money for wages.

Something to keep in mind, is that some of these players will only be free agents because they currently have a long-term injury. However, once you have searched and scouted the player FM will let you know if they have sustained a long-term injury.
