Nintendo has released a demo for Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes, and it’s available now on the Switch eShop.

The game is scheduled for release on June 24th. But, if you play the demo, your progress will carry over into the full game.

Check out the new trailer, which came out today, to coincide with the release of the demo:

The description reads:

“Step into the shoes of Shez as you join Fire Emblem: Three Houses characters, such as the Ashen Wolves, in epic, real-time battles across Fódlan. The house you choose will bring you through one of three compelling stories set in the Fire Emblem: Three Houses universe, each with a different outcome.

“Play through the first few chapters of the demo today, and then transfer your save data to the full game when it comes out on June 24, only on Nintendo Switch.”

In other recent Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes, we saw Shez in another trailer. He is a mercenary, and belongs to one of three factions that you will be able to play. The game is a successor to 2019’s Fire Emblem: Three Houses, which, thanks to some D.L.C., actually featured four houses. That game was very celebrated, indeed, making many game-of-the-year lists. Will the new game struggle to make a similar impact?
