Square Enix will release a demo of Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition later today, the publisher has announced. The teaser will go live at around 5.00pm GMT via Steam, and offers a chance to test drive the acclaimed JRPG ahead of its PC launch on March 6.

The demo will feature the complete Chapter One for you to plough through, which gives you access to the tutorial as well as the first few quests in the game. It’s also worth remembering that those of you who pre-order Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition will gain access to the Half-Life pack.

The Windows Edition of Final Fantasy XV includes the full game plus a range of downloadable content, including the multiplayer-focused Comrades. Square Enix will also launch Final Fantasy XV Royal Edition for PS4 and Xbox One on the same day, again featuring all DLC.

Last week it emerged that the development team is planning on extending the game’s post-launch roadmap into 2019 with an additional episode.
