Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn will enter its closed beta phase from Monday, February 25, Square Enix has announced.
The game’s most loyal fans will be invited to test out the MMO which has been fully redesigned. Closed Beta players will be able to try out the new Full Active Time Events (FATE) as part of the new gameplay system. Players can participate in these randomly occurring events by simply being within proximity of the event, without the need to form parties.
In addition, a Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn benchmark tool has been released, allowing players to test out the game’s performance on their PC.
