Square Enix has dropped its 1.03 patch for its recently-released RPG Final Fantasy 16, bringing with it a number of changes, but the community’s biggest relief seems to be around fixing the game’s camera and motion blur.

The update, announced on Twitter, makes a number of changes with the most prominent being options to adjust the degree of motion blur in the game, and the ability to adjust how much the camera follows the player around. It seems those changes have been the most welcome by the community, with the response to the patch notes on Reddit being largely positive. “My eyes can feel the relief already.” says Railshock. “Oh thank god motion blur slider. Thank you SE” agrees Demoncreed27.

The camera isn’t the only thing getting some love though, as this update also adds three new control types, which are also being met with praise by the community for the considerations to accessibility. As Elfyrr puts it “Their reception to the player base, their willingness to engage and embrace feedback underscores how invaluable an experience and learning lesson FFXIV was. It’s truly elevated the relationship between end-user and dev, a necessity as community-driven feedback becomes more integral in the process and prospects of the franchise.”
