Another weekend of the season has passed, and once again there have been some outstanding performances that should help make up another cracking TOTW. TOTW 7 will have to go a long way to be quite as strong as last week’s TOTW, but there are still some decent players to get excited about entering packs.

How does FIFA 23 Team of the Week (TOTW) Work ?

TOTW is an event that occurs weekly to celebrate the players who showed the best form in the last round of games.

These cards can only be earned in packs, but they will also be in the rewards for the FUT Champions game mode on a weekend.

These players range in quality, and the players who are the best will make up the starting eleven, then there will also be a bench and a reserves. So there will be a 22 man squad of in-forms.

One player will be the featured card, they will receive a larger boost than usual. It is normally a lower rated card, bringing up to the level of the rest of the squad.

FIFA 23 TOTW 7 Release Date

FIFA 23s TOTW always releases on a Wednesday. This week’s TOTW releases on the 2nd of November. The TOTW will always drop on a Wednesday unless there are some kind of complications.

What time does FIFA 23 TOTW 7 come out?

Much like the release date, we also know to expect FUT TOTW at the same time every week: 6PM BST / 2PM ET / 11AM ET.

EA always releases their new content in FIFA at this time. The only reason it would not be released at this time would be due to some kind of complications, which to be fair has happened in the past.

FIFA 23 TOTW 7 Leaks – Mane and Bentancur headline

Everything from here onwards is now old news, but it can still make for some interesting reading:

One player that has been leaked early will be a must have player for anyone with a Bundesliga team. Sadio Mane was the first leak of this week, which is a huge plus for anyone who is lucky enough to have his Ones to Watch card from earlier in FIFA 23.

We are also now seeing leaks that Spurs centre midfielder Bentancur will be in TOTW 7, as the featured in form too. This could be a great addition to TOTW 7 if the leaks are true.

Here are all the leaks we have seen so far:

  • Sadio Mane (Bayern Munich)
  • Victor Osimhen (Napoli)
  • Rodrigo Bentancur (Tottenham Hotspur)
  • Diogo Dalot (Manchester United)
  • Nicolas Tagliafico (Olympique Lyon)
  • Carlos Vela (LAFC)
  • Callum Wilson (Newcastle United
  • Stefan De Vrij (Inter Milan)
  • Alex Moreno (Real Betis)
  • Gregor Kobel (Borussia Dortmund)

FIFA 23 TOTW 7 Player Predictions – Who has earned an in-form this week?

It was another great weekend of football, and we should see some really highly rated cards released into packs. The stand out performers were Victor Osimhen and Lionel Messi, but it is hard to tell if Messi will get another TOTW after having one so recently.

Take a look below at our full team predictions, we’re normally pretty close:

  • GK, David De Gea (Manchester United) – This was a tough one, and it was pretty close between De Gea and Pickford in goal, but we have gone with De Gea because his saves helped clinch Manchester United all three points.
  • CB, Stefan de Vrij (Inter Milan) – The Ducth CB is always a consistent performer for Inter, but this week he went that extra mile in grabbing himself a goal alongside his clean sheet.
  • LB, Alfonso Espino (Cadiz) – This was probably the upset of the weekend as Cadiz earned all three points against Atletico Madrid. One player will have to feature from this game and we predict it will be Espino because of his two assists.
  • LB, Alex Moreno (Real Betis) – He managed to get two assists at the weekend, helping his team climb into the top four spots.
  • RWB, Hans Hateboer (Atalanta) – It is a big week for Serie A defenders but Hateboer managed to score and help his side keep a clean sheet against Empoli.
  • CM, Kevin De Bruyne (Manchester City) – De Bruyne is currently one of the best players in the world, and he once again proved it at the weekend with a scrumptious freekick. He may not score as many as Haaland, but there is no doubt he is still City’s most important player.
  • CDM,Maximilian Arnold (Wolfsburg) – In similar fashion to a player we will mention further down the list, he may not have started the game but his influence was unmatched. Once he came on he got two assists and grabbed Man of the Match.
  • CM, Bentancur (Tottenham Hotspur) – Nabbing a late winner for his side, admittedly against a Bournemouth team they should be beating, could be enough to get him into this weeks TOTW.
  • RM, Reis Nelson (Arsenal) – It was probably a terrifying moment for Arsenal fans when Saka had to come off with an injury against Forest. Yet, it didn’t seem to impact Nelson who came on, took his chance and grabbed himself two goals.
  • LW, Sadio Mane (Bayern Munich) – The new Bayern star has been in exceptional form this season, so it is about time he grabbed himself an in-form. He managed a goal, and two assists, as Bayern played Mainz off the pitch.
  • ST, Victor Osimhen (Napoli) – Any player who grabs themselves a hat trick is nailed on to feature in FIFA’s TOTW, and that’s just what Osimhen did to earn his place in TOTW 7.
  • RW, Lionel Messi (PSG) – Now, there’s every chance we don’t see Messi feature in TOTW 7 because he only recently received an in-form. Yet, the 7 time Ballon d’Or winner is one of the best, so it’s difficult to leave him out.
  • ST, Callum Wilson (Newcastle United) – It will be a close one this week as Newcastle had a few players perform well. We think Callum Wilson is likely to feature, however there is a chance we could see RB Kieran Trippier in the squad instead.
  • ST, Timo Werner (RB Leipzig) – His move to Chelsea may not have worked out completely, but he has refound his best form since moving back to the club he made his name. He scored a goal and won Man of the Match at the weekend to put him in contention for TOTW 7.
