If you were wondering why your duplicates weren’t disappearing, it’s a new FIFA 23 SBC glitch! With so many great players available to unlock via SBCs, this is the perfect time to add the likes of 99-rated Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi to your squad.
The FC 24 release date is just around the corner and FC 24 early access is even closer. In the meantime, it appears that EA has taken its eye off the ball. These mistakes have been rife throughout the season, but we hope they are limited in FC 24 Ultimate Team. That being said, this glitch would be very handy in building out your club next season.

What’s the problem?
At 10:18am BST, EA Sports FC Direct Communication confirmed on X (Twitter) that they were aware of issues within the game.
“We are investigating reports of some players being unable to start matches in FIFA Ultimate Team, open pack, or use the FUT Store and will provide an update in this thread when available.”
According to the official account, “The issue is now resolved. Thanks for the patience.”
What is the FIFA 23 SBC glitch?
If you were completing SBCs using the FUT Web App or Mobile App, you could submit unlimited SBCs! We stumbled on this issue while trying to discard our duplicates to be able to open more packs. In what seemed like an annoying bug, we have now found ourselves with a wealth of upgrade packs.
The issue may have arisen as EA looks to launch the FC 24 Web App soon, but we aren’t complaining. Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi are both available via SBC right now, and are both 99 overall players. Even though it is very late in the FUT cycle, it’s still fun to add these greats of the game to your club.
If the issue returns, we would recommend smashing out the 84+ x10 Upgrade and 86+ x10 Upgrade SBCs to load your club with packs. From there, you can continue to open packs at your leisure and begin to unlock the very best players available.
We did not test the glitch on console, but it certainly worked on Mobile and the Web App.
