FIFA 23 Official Top Player Ratings revealed

EA have revealed the top 23 highest rated players on FIFA 23. From across the leagues, 11 of those players hail from the Premier League, 5 from La Liga, 4 from Ligue 1, and 3 in the Bundesliga.

No players from the Serie A belong in the top 23, it seems.

As the final instalment of the franchise we know and love, FIFA, this game is sure to be the best of the bunch. That being said, there is very little change from FIFA 22’s ratings.

Who is the top overall player on FIFA 23?

Karim Benzema is not only one of the top overall most improved player, but also one of the highest rating overall players in the game. After winning the Champions League with Real Madrid, and defining himself as the likely 2022 Ballon d’or winner, there is no questioning his position as FIFA 23’s top player.

What has happened to Messi and Ronaldo on FIFA 23?

There’s no denying that Messi and Ronaldo were once the best in world football. Their FIFA cards over the years have fairly reflected that. Now, their cards have begun to reflect their gradual decline from the top of the game. Don’t get us wrong, they are still two of the best footballers still going, though the playing field has begun to even out drastically.

Messi

After moving to PSG in 2021, world football was forever changed. Formerly a one-club legend, Messi ditched Barcelona in favour of playing with former teammate Neymar and 2018 World Cup Winner Kylian Mbappe. Since then, his goal-scoring prowess hasn’t dwindled, though he has been hampered by injuries and fitness – symptoms of his increasing age.

Ronaldo

In another shock move, Ronaldo left Juventus and re-joined the club where he etched a name for himself into football history: Manchester United. Since re-joining the Red Devils, Ronaldo effectively carried United to their measly sixth place position, and will probably not enjoy playing in the Europa League for the first time since he last played at Sporting Lisbon.

Who are the top players in FIFA 23?

We think that all of these players will demand a high asking price in FIFA Ultimate Team, the game-mode in FIFA 23 that we are most excited for, and they will likely receive even higher rated TOTW and SBC cards. Aside from that, they will be great in Career Mode to structure your team around.
