FIFA 23 arrives next week – so all attention is now on the expected FIFA 23 Web App, which is set to launch tomorrow (September 21). The Companion App is expected to launch the following day.

EA confirmed on their website that the current Web App is down for maintenance while they prepare for the new game. For those desperate to try FIFA 23, you can currently get EA Play for 0.79p – which will give you a month’s worth of gaming and a chance to play FIFA 23 for 10 hours.

There are still no official details about what to expect, but if it’s anything like last year, the Web App and Companion App will become an invaluable resource for Ultimate Team players.

Remember, if your account is in ‘good standing’ then you may be eligible for rewards, according to EA. This is based on your player history, engagement, and account status, which differ from person to person.

Here’s everything you need to know about the FIFA 23 Web App and FIFA 23 Companion App.

FIFA 23 Web App and Companion App release date and time

EA has confirmed the FIFA 23 Web App will go live on Wednesday, September 21

If it’s anything like last year’s version, the FIFA 23 Web App is expected to go live at 18:00 BST, 10:00 PT and 13:00 ET. The FIFA 23 Web will be available on the App Store and Google Store.

For reference, here’s how last year’s Web App rolled out, as per the EA website.

  • September 17, 2021 – FUT 21 Web App goes offline (FIFA 21 launched on October 6)
  • September 22, 2021 – FUT 22 Web App comes online (FIFA 22 launched on September 27)

Remember, once the new app launches, the old FIFA 22 Web App will not longer exist, according to EA’s website. For the Companion App, there will be a forced update to the FIFA 23 version on the day of launch.

FIFA 23 Web App – expected log in process

If it’s like last year’s FIFA 22 Web App, you can follow these steps to log in:

  • Log in using an email associated with your FUT Team
  • There is likely to be Login Verification – which will keep your account secure. Follow these steps to ensure your data is safe.
  • Remember to log out of FUT after you’ve played on your console or PC – as you’re not able to use the web app whilst logged in.

FIFA 23 Web App – expected features

EA has not confirmed the Web App features yet, so the below are taken from previous iterations, which we think are likely to return.

Style your stadium

Here you’re able to customize everything from walkout music to Tifos and more. We fully expect this feature to return in the FIFA 23 Web App – and it could prove a important additional with the upcoming World Cup mode.

SBCs

You’ll be able to stay on top of all SBCs via the Companion App and be able to exchange spare players in your club to unlock new players, packs, or customisation options.

Compete with the community

You can unlock rewards via Companion App by competing or collaborating with the FUT Community in Team Events.

Claim rewards

Via the apps, you can claim rewards for your progress in Champions, Division Rivals, Squad Battles, and FUT Events.

Sign your next star

Last year, you could buy and sell Players with the global FUT Community in the Transfer Market – a feature we expect to return.
