A draft is one of the more interesting things you can do in FIFA 23, as it allows you to play with players you may not of used before, can’t afford or don’t fit into your squad.

How to Build a Draft in FIFA 23?
In drafts, you can select a team from your favorite heroes. To begin a draft,
- Turn on the game.
- Select ‘Play’ .
-  Select ‘Draft’ on the foot screen.Â
- After this, you can play with either 300 FIFA points or 15,000 coins.Â
- Select your preferred price.
When you select an option, you are directed to a screen where you can choose formations.
You have five formations to choose from, including 5-2-2-1, 4-1-2-1-2. 4-5-1. 5-2-1-2 and more. Whatever formation you pick will be your default formation, and you cannot change it in game like you can in other FIFA game modes.

You start by picking a captain. For each selection, you can pick one player out of 5 random players that play that position. In total, you can choose 22 players and a manager.
When choosing a draft, you must watch for qualities like cohesion so that your players not only look great on paper; they can play well together.Â

This is where chemistry comes in place. When you select players from the same team, league, or nationality, your team’s chemistry is represented by a Total chemistry score tab to the left of the Draft screen.
After picking your team, the game analyses and gives you an Ultimate Draft Summary where you can see your top players, Total chemistry Team ratings, and Squad rating.
You can then proceed to compete with players online or offline and attempt to win five games in a row.
