We’re at that point in the week again when the best performers from the last few days are celebrated will boosted cards in FC 24 Ultimate Team through TOTW! Team of the Week 3 has dropped, with some stunning players included.
Lautaro Martinez and Martin Odegaard headline the third squad of the new title, each gaining an 88-rated card. However, if you take a look at the full EA FC 24 TOTW 3 squad, there might be a player you think is missing!
Fan-favourite and wonder winger Rafael Leao is nowhere to be seen! The AC Milan forward tore things up in Serie A once again at the weekend. He helped his side beat Lazio 2-0 in a sensational display.
The Portugal player provided both assists in the second half in a Man of the Match display. Many expected him to make it into TOTW 3 in FC 24 Ultimate Team. However, EA has left fans disappointed, ruthlessly excluding him from the promo squad.
During the match, Leao only misplaced one of his passes, with a 95% pass completion rate. The win helped Milan keep up with rivals Inter at the top of the table, with both sitting on 18 points from seven games.
Those lucky enough to have packed Leao in these early FUT stages will know what a sensational card he has. Already, the community has learned to watch out when he gets on the ball, thanks to his ridiculous pace, dribbling ability, and strength on the ball!
A boosted card would have been phenomenal. Unfortunately, we will have to wait to see that happen – although it is surely just a matter of time.
While many will be annoyed an early upgrade hasn’t come, plenty in the community will rejoice! After all, his base card is already dominating matches. An upgrade to that will be properly frightening and would likely own FC 24 FUT Champions games.
