Far Cry 6 has a season pass that lets you play as the series’ villains.

During the Ubisoft Forward showcase, the season pass was revealed with a strange trailer.

Check it out:

The description reads, “For the first time in franchise history—become the villain.” It then goes to say, “You are Vaas. You are Pagan Min. You are Joseph Seed. Play as past villains with the Far Cry 6 Season Pass. Watch now and learn more.”

Exactly how this will work isn’t clear, but it looks like a separate mode, and it seems to take place in those characters’ heads. Note, in the trailer, the sharks that are perfectly content to fin through the sky above the island. Plus, Joseph Seed, from Far Cry 5, appears to have roots growing up his arms. Something trippy this way comes!

Either way, if you have always wanted to play as Vaas, and lecture people on the definition of insanity, this is your time.

Also, the season pass will include Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon, the ’80s-inflected spin-off starring Michael Biehn.

Also in the showcase, Ubisoft released another trailer. This one centred on the villain of Far Cry 6, one Antón Castillo, played by Giancarlo Esposito. Castillo and his troops catch a group of the game’s rebels, including the protagonist, Dani Rojas. Then, they let them go—silliness.
