Ubisoft has given Far Cry 5 the live-action trailer treatment again as it continues to shine a light on the game’s antagonistic religious nut, Joseph Seed.
This time around we’re introduced to Far Cry 5’s fictional Hope County with a police chase, where some chap is being pursued by the local plod along a country road. He abruptly stops, making the Old Bill smash into the back of his car and fall out in a daze, only to have his gun pinched as the felon scarpers.
Our ‘hero’ then stumbles into the local church, where Joseph Seed is busy engaging his flock in service. The bloke then sheepishly walks into the room and takes a seat, as Seed and chums begin breaking out in song, before we’re treated to a brief montage of gameplay. Give it a watch below.
Far Cry 5 is due out on PS4, PC, and Xbox One on March 27, and will receive a special map editor known as Far Cry Arcade featuring assets plucked from other Ubisoft games such as Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag and Watch_Dogs.
