Far Cry 5 can be played in two-player co-op, and will see the return of the map editor for players to make their own playgrounds to explode things in.

According to Ubisoft, ‘Players will have total freedom to navigate this serene-looking yet deeply twisted world solo or entirely in two-player co-op as they fight for survival and freedom.’

Far Cry 5 is the first game in the Far Cry series to be set in America. Players will have to survive in rural Montana, whilst trying to take down a sinister doomsday cult, called The Project at Eden’s Gate.

Far Cry 5 is out on February 27 2018 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.Â
