The Walt Disney Company have officially confirmed that their planned ‘Fantastic Four’ movie has been moved from it’s originally announced release date of 8th November 2024 to its new release date of 14th February 2025.
This move in release date comes as a result of Marvel Studio’s planned ‘Blade’ movie starring Mahershala Ali in the titular role moving from its previously announced planned release date of 3rd November 2023 to 6th September 2024 due to the delay in production on the movie because of director, Bassim Tariq’s, departure from the production.
This new release date for ‘Blade’ was originally scheduled as the release date for the recently announced ‘Deadpool 3’, which has now had to move to Fantastic Four’s original release date of 8th November 2024, thus pushing ‘Fantastic Four’ to this new release date of 14th February 2025.

Marvel Studios have announced at the Disney D23 event today that Matt Shankman (The Good Wife, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Wanda Vision) is going to be directing the movie.
However no official casting, or story synopsis for the movie were discussed during the panel.
