THQ Nordic has given open world RPG ELEX II a release date, with the sequel set to release on March 1, 2022.

The publisher has also announced a Collector’s Edition for the game, which includes a 9.2 inch Alb Figurine. The package also contains the game’s original soundtrack, an official artbook, a Cleric Amulett key chain and a Steelbook. There’s also a concept album by the game’s composer Björn Pankratz. Finally, there’s a copy of the game itself which seems to be an odd novelty for collector’s editions of this size of late.

The game is the sequel to 2017’s Elex, and returns to the fantasy realm of Magalan from that game. As Jax, you’ll be using your jetpack to explore this post apocalyptic world, in search for your son Dex. There’ll be plenty of close and long range combat, and you’ll also meet with plenty of NPCs who’ll act and react to your actions over the course of your adventure. You can check out our review of the original Elex from back in 2017 right over here, if you fancy.
