Eidos snaps up RACE – The Official WTCC game

Eidos Interactive has announced it will be publishing RACE – The Official WTCC Game, an officially licensed World Touring Car Championship racing game, from acclaimed Swedish developers SimBin. The game will feature the complete WTCC championship season of 2006, plus all the cars, drivers and locations.

I’m very excited about this cooperation and I am really proud to be able to work with Eidos, one of the leading videogame publishers in the World,” said Henrik Roos, CEO of SimBin.

In total the game will feature more than 60 accurately modelled cars and 10 licensed tracks from four continents, with support for up to 26-player online racing.

RACE – The Official WTCC Game is scheduled for release across Europe on November 24.
