Doomfist has now officially launched in Overwatch, playable on the PS4, Xbox One and PC versions of the game after a period where he was only playable on the PTR (Public Test Realm).  To coincide with the official release of the new hero, Blizzard has also put together a short video, showing off Doomfist’s character traits, abilities and his background.

The Doomfist update also comes with a bevy of other changes to the game, now including Overwatch’s new highlights system, which has new options for the capturing and saving of gameplay highlights, and the recently announced loot box updates that reduce the number of duplicate items in the game.

Finally, this update brings some minor (but needed) tweaks to a few of Overwatch’s heroes these changes affect D.Va, Genji, Zarya, Reaper, McCree and Reinhardt. Sadly, there’ve been no further tweaks for Roadhogg.
