Gameloft has confirmed Xbox and PlayStation versions of its upcoming Disney kart racer, Disney Speedstorm.

The company originally revealed the free-to-play racer back in February during that month’s Nintendo Direct broadcast. At the time, it only confirmed a release on PC and Nintendo Switch with a vague promise of other consoles. However, the company has now confirmed in a new trailer it’ll be releasing on Xbox and PlayStation as well.

To catch you up, Disney Speedstorm is a “hero-based combat racing game” (read: kart racer) starring a bunch of Disney and Pixar favourites. Each hero and villain have their own vehicles themed around them and racing on tracks based on their movies. Racers have their own stats and unique skills, and you’ll be able to upgrade them to give yourself an edge.

Already confirmed for the game is a line up including Mickey Mouse, Captain Jack Sparrow, Sulley from Monsters Inc and many more. Meanwhile, tracks include courses based on Pirates of the Caribbean, Mulan & The Jungle Book to name a few. Gameloft has also promised to regularly release new characters and courses too, to keep players with fresh new content.

You can check out the game’s latest trailer for yourself down below. Disney Speedstorm doesn’t have a specific release date yet, but is aiming to launch this Summer on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC.
