Codemasters has announced DiRT 5 will be receiving its largest ever update with 5.0 landing alongside a premium Super Sized Content Pack DLC next week.

The update will include the first new free circuits added to the game since launch, with the São Conrado and Rio Seafront tracks both set in Brazil. Racers will be taking a spin in the shadow of the Pedra da Gavea on these two Land Rush tracks that lead from the muddy rainforest to the golden sands of the beach and promise “plenty of chances to overtake and get airborne.” PlayStation 5 owners will also finally get to enjoy full haptic and adaptive trigger support when using their DualSense controller.

Meanwhile, the Super Sized Content Pack DLC will include four new cars including the Bentley Continental GT Ice Race Car, the Armada Rock Racer, the Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport Baja Concept and the Rezvani Tank. The pack will also include 27 new events for the game’s Career mode alongside a bunch of new Time Trial events. You can also count on a couple of new sponsors to sign for —Power Maxed and chocolate brand Toblerone— alongside a bunch of new customisation items.

And of course, Playgrounds mode gets its own new additions in the Parts Unknown segment of the update that’ll be free to all players. With a classic science fiction theme, expect over 20 new objects you can use making your own courses in Create mode. These include ramps, props and a new ‘Area 51’ location that’s… wait for it… out of this world.

The Super Sized Content pack will be available to purchase either separately or as part of the game’s Amplified and Year One Editions. The 5.0 update and Parts Unknown Playgrounds update will be free to all players, and all three land in DiRT 5 on July 20 on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC.
